Claudia Jean Baughman of Bedford, known to friends and family as Jeannie passed away Saturday afternoon, March 27th at Indiana University Hospital at the age of 55.
Born in 1954 in Lawrence County to Charles Otto Helton and Loretta Helton Mosier, she had been married to Dwayne Baughman since 2004, was a Cardiology Ultrasound Technician at Bedford Regional Medical Center, was a graduate of Bedford High School in the class of 1972 and was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Claudia is survived by her husband; her mother; one daughter, Jodi Wright; several grandchildren and one brother, Charles Jack Helton.
She was preceded in death by her father; one brother, Richard Helton and one sister, Connie Edmonson.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 1st at 10:00AM at the First Baptist Church with burial to follow in Mitchell Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2:00PM until 8:00PM on Wednesday, March 31st at Ferguson – Lee Funeral Home.
