Karen J. Turner of Bedford, formerly of Mitchell, passed away Thursday morning, January 21st at her residence at the age of 67.
Born in 1942 in Bedford to parents John M. and Mildred J. (Robinson) Tuddy, she had been married to Charles Turner since 1958.
Karen worked many different jobs from waitressing to home health before retiring as a homemaker; she was also a member of Body of Christ Fellowship Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Carolyn J. Robinson and Lisa G. Taylor; one son, Mike L. Turner; four sisters, Janet Robinson, Diane Robinson, Rhea Lewis and Rita Lewis; three brothers, John Tuddy, Ronnie Tuddy and Joe Tuddy as well as several grandchildren, nieces, cousins and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Charles Turner, Jr. and one grandchild.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday afternoon, January 23rd at Ferguson – Lee Funeral Home with burial to follow in Mitchell Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4:00PM until 8:00PM on Friday, January 22nd and from 11:00AM until the hour of service on Saturday, January 23rd at Ferguson – Lee funeral Home.
