Maxine P. Elgin of Cambellsburg passed away Monday morning, December 21st at Bedford Regional Medical Center at the age of 69.
Born in 1940 in Bedford to parents Reese and Aleen (Eisenmenger) Jones, She had been married to Robert L. Elgin since 1958 and was retired from Helsel.
She is survived by two sons, Robert L. Elgin an his wife Rhonda, James L. Elgin and his wife Michelle; three daughters, Mary J. Hughes, Patricia J. Elgin, Amy J. Pitel; one brother, Wayne Jones; two sisters, Phyllis Harris and Violet Jones, as well as six grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three brothers, Abby Jones, Reese Jones, Jr., Robert Dale Jones; four sisters, Edith Mitman, Mamie Coffman, Dorothy Goen and an infant sister.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, December 24th at 11:00AM at Claysville Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4:00PM until 8:00PM on Wednesday, December 23rd at Chastain Funeral Home.
