William C. Hunter of Bedford known to family and friends as Bill, passed away Tuesday evening at Stonebridge Health Campus at the age of 77.
Born in 1931 in Heltonville Indiana to parents Eithel and Faye Hunter, William was retired supervisor at RCA, a veteran of the US Marines, a member of Hillcrest Christian Church and Heltonville Area Veterans.
He is survived by his wife Phyllis; one son, Phillip and his wife Barbara; two daughters, Jackie and her husband Bruce and Rhonda and her husband Greg; eight grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Martha; special granddad Morton; one sister Jaynella; and one brother Robert.
Services will be held Friday at 11:00 AM at Day & Carter Mortuary.
Visitation is Thursday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM from the Elmwood Chapel at Day & Carter Mortuary.
At Bill’s request, cremation was chosen.
