Mary E. Wigner of Bedford passed away Monday night at Dunn Memorial Hospital at the age of 84.
Born in 1924 in Lawrence County to George and Pearl Baker, Mary was a homemaker and active member of the First United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her son Jerome, daughter Elaine, sister Sylvia, brother Marshall, 4 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Winfred, daughter Beth, sisters Anna, Melphia and Melvina and brother Opal.
Memorial services will be held Saturday afternoon at 1:00pm at the First United Methodist Church with burial to follow at Green Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday evening from 5:00 until 8:00pm at Day & Carter Mortuary.
