Anna (Armstrong) Stansbury of Columbus, formerly of Bedford, passed away Saturday afternoon at Columbus Regional Hospital at the age of 92.
Born in 1916 in Springville to Curtis and Maud Armstrong, Anna was an educator for 42 years, member of Springville Christian Church, Phi Beta Psi sorority, Daughters of the American Revolution, American Association of University Women, and was a National Exchange Club’s Book of Golden Deeds Award recipient.
She is survived by her son Ted, 1 step granddaughter, 1 step great grandson, and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Ernest, and brothers Dale and Ralph.
Services will be held Wednesday morning at 10:00am at the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with burial to follow at Springville West Cemetery.
Visitation will be tomorrow from 4:00 until 8:00pm at Day & Carter.
