Merida O. Webb of Bedford passed away Saturday morning at Bloomington Hospital at the age of 86.
Born in 1922 to Merida and Nellie Webb, Merida was a die-cast operator for GM in Bedford, member of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church, Lawrence County Senior Citizens, Masonic Lodge F&AM #58 in Malvern, Arkansas, and UAW Local 440.
He is survived by his son Tommy, brothers Barles, Lonell, Odel and Don, sisters Margarette, Sue, and Carolyn, 2 grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by brothers Vernard and Lindell and step-mother Mamie.
Services will be held tomorrow morning at 10:00am at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home with burial to follow at Poyen Cemetery in Poyen, Arkansas.
Visitation will be today from 4:00 until 8:00pm at Ferguson-Lee.
