Dorothy Helen Tanksley of Mitchell passed away Friday morning at White River Lodge in Bedford at the age of 87.
Born in 1921 in Leipsic to Roscoe and Margaret Ingram, Dorothy was a homemaker and member of Liberty Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children Karen, Kenneth, Robert, Michael, Loretta and Missy, 14 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandson.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert, brothers Granville, Jimmy, Claude, Clyde and Vance and one granddaughter.
Services were held this morning at 10:00am at the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with burial following at Mitchell Cemetery.
