Candace Kay Kern of Williams passed away Friday morning at her home at the age of 58.
Born in 1950 in Bedford to Jackie and Maxine Doub, Candace was a homemaker and member of Mitchell Presbyterian Church, Phi Beta Psi Sorority and Girl Scouts Tulip Trace Council and worked at Jay-C, United Technologies, Hoosier Uplands, Just Kids Daycare and Cedar Hill, and was once the owner of the Bric-Brac Shop in Mitchell.
She is survived by her parents, husband Amel, sons Stacey and Cory, siblings Connie, Cary and Carmen, 2 granddaughters and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held this morning at 10:00am at the Mitchell Presbyterian Church with burial following at Bryantsville Cemetery.
