Wilbert L. Terrell of Bedford passed away Thursday at Garden Villa Nursing Home at the age of 74.
Born in 1934 in Bedford to Erie and Knoxie Terrell, Wilbert was a masonry worker for 40 years.
He is survived by his sons Homer and Ricky, daughters Kathy, Brenda, Helen, Kelly, Sherry and Betty Jo, brothers Vernie and Gary, sisters Helen, Sharon, Geraldine, Marsha, Connie, and Rita, 21 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Peggy, sons Michael and David, daughters Knoxie and Rosetta, sister Catherine, 1 grandson, and 1 great granddaughter.
Graveside services will be held this afternoon at 2:00pm at Patton Hill Cemetery with burial to follow.
Visitation is until 1:30 this afternoon at Day & Carter Mortuary.
