Dorothy Ann Hatfield of Bedford passed away Sunday morning at Westview Nursing Center at the age of 81.
Born in 1926 in Lawrence County to Herbert and Lottie Williams, Dorothy was a teacher’s aide and tutor at Englewood Elementary School and volunteer at the Public Library, and member of Englewood Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband Oren, sons James, Timothy, and David, daughters Sandra, and Brenda, brother Richard, 15 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be held Thursday morning at 10:30 at Englewood Baptist Church with burial to follow at Cresthaven Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 4:00 until 8:00pm at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home and again Thursday from 9:30 until time of service at the church.
