Robert J. Cook of Campbellsburg passed away early Friday morning at Washington County Memorial Hospital in Salem at the age of 61.
Born in 1946 in St. Cloud, Minnesota to John and Verona Cook, Robert was a retired truck driver, Army veteran of the Vietnam War, and member of Virgil Grimes American Legion Post 41 in Salem and Marvin R. Davis VFW Post 9107 in Mitchell.
He is survived by his wife Deborah, sons Caleb and Jonah, daughter Melissa and 11 grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents and grandson Lachlan.
Services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 1:00pm at New Covenant Baptist Church in Campbellsburg with burial to follow at Hop Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11:00am until time of service tomorrow at the church.
