John C. Sellers, Sr. of Shoals passed away Friday night at Washington County Hospital in Salem at the age of 70.
Born in 1937 in Dover Hill to Benjamin and Hannah Sellers, John was a retiree of Dana Corporation in Mitchell and also worked at Stone Mills, and owned Sellers Welding and Small Engine Repair Shop in Shoals.
He is survived by his wife Sue, son John Jr., daughters Kathy and Delilah, sisters Irene, Pauline, Kathie and Mary, brothers Leon, Thomas and Wendell, 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Per his wishes, no funeral services will be held.
