Dorsie Spaulding of Bedford passed away Friday afternoon at Bedford Regional Medical Center at the age of 92.
Born in 1916 in Kentucky to John and Nannie Perry, Dorsie was a retiree of RCA in Bloomington and member of Hilltop Pentecostal Church and Stongate Faith Center.
She is survived by her son Jan, daughters Gaytha and Renae, sister Lyla, 15 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles, sisters Reba and Beatrice and brother Crit.
Services will be held tomorrow morning at 11:00am at the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with burial to follow at Hilltop Cemetery in Avoca.
Visitation will be today from 2:00 until 8:00pm and again tomorrow from 10:00am until time of service tomorrow at Day & Carter.
