Carl E. Massey of Mitchell passed away Monday morning at Bloomington Hospital at the age of 72.
Born in 1935 in Huron to Ira and Grace Massey, Carl was a retiree of Carpenter Body Works.
He is survived by his wife Kathleen, son Anthony, daughter Anita, sisters Erma, Lois and Verga Lee, 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandson and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, son Gregory and brother Gordon.
Services will be held Friday afternoon at 1:00pm at the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with burial to follow at Mitchell Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00pm Thursday evening and again Friday morning from 11:00am until time of service at Chastain.
