MITCHELL – The City of Mitchell announced changes to cemetery fees during their regular meeting Monday evening which will go into effect on May 3rd, 2022.
This decision was made to provide up-to-date costs after comparing rates from other cemeteries in other communities. The only fee that will remain the same is plot transfers for $25, as the council felt a change to that would be unnecessary.
The updated fees include:
- Spaces: $550.00
- Plot transfers: $25.00
- Internment – Full Burial M-F: $550.00
- Cremation M-F: $350.00
- Full Burial Saturday: $650.00
- Cremation Saturday: $550.00
- Full Burial Sunday & Holiday: $800.00
- Cremation Sunday & Holiday: $650.00
- Infant: $300.00
