LOOGOOTEE – Loogootee Fire Department firefighters responded to a fatal house fire on Saturday on State Road 550 south of Loogootee.
Authorities say one person died in the home. Their name has not been released.
Crews responded to the call at 6:59 p.m. Saturday.
State Fire Marshals are still working to determine the cause of the fire.
No foul play is suspected and no other injuries were reported.
The fire remains under investigation.
