(MITCHELL) – If you’re looking for something FUN to do this weekend, why not join the Southern Indiana team in the Global 6K for Water on Saturday, May 16.
Due to COVID-19, this run/walk is a virtual event which means you can participate by walking in your neighborhood, on a treadmill, or at the local park.
Due to the number of generous donations, officials have received, the next 40 registrations are free by using promo code “si6k2020.” The offer for free registration is first come first served!

The average distance many women and children in the developing world walk for water is 6K (3.73 miles) every day for water. This water is often contaminated with life-threatening diseases. Every registration for the 6K provides clean water to one person in need through World Vision water projects.
Currently, 47 participants signed up for the virtual 6K and have raised more than $5,380.
