(BEDFORD) – The Bedford Board of Works received one bid for the Bedford Development Center during a special meeting Thursday afternoon.
Wellness Real Estate Partners submitted the lone bid of $356,500 for the Bedford Development Center located at 405 I Street (Old Oakland City College Center).
Laura Anderson of Millican Realty is representing the group wishing to purchase the property.
Wellness Real Estate Partners is a real estate investment company focused solely on acquiring real estate leased to behavioral health companies either through sale-leaseback transactions of owned real estate or acquisitions of de novo locations, according to the company’s website.
The bid was taken under advisement. The bid had the purchase price and other stipulations included in the proposal.
A special meeting of the Board of Works will be called sometime next week to accept or reject the bid.
