(ORLEANS) – The Orleans Town Street Department continues to receive complaints about local property owners blowing grass clippings into the streets and roadways.
Residents are urged to take care whenever mowing and refrain from this practice as prohibited by local ordinance.
In addition to clogging of the storm’s storm drains, the grass clippings also pose a potentially serious safety hazard.
