INDIANA – Indiana’s Faith-Based Institutions Initiative (FBII) joined community leaders on Oct. 21 in Anderson to mark InerG Impact’s second anniversary and celebrate the opening of its Center for Youth Entrepreneurship & Innovation.
The center will help young people develop practical skills, build professional networks, and turn their ideas into businesses.

“Young Hoosiers have unique ideas, and it matters when someone takes those ideas seriously and helps them get started,” Lieutenant Governor Micah Beckwith said. “InerG Impact is giving young people the encouragement and practical support to build something of their own and a bright future here at home.
The anniversary luncheon brought together local supporters and leaders, including Tyson Priest, initiatives director for Lieutenant Governor Beckwith, and Brian Schutt, director of the Office of Entrepreneurship & Innovation for the State of Indiana.
The new center advances FBII’s goals of mentoring the next generation and helping Hoosiers achieve self-sufficiency through meaningful work. Powered by P30 Indy, InerG Impact provides coworking space, business resources, and community programming in Anderson.
Lieutenant Governor Beckwith’s FBII team works with houses of worship, nonprofit organizations, and community leaders to address local needs and identify ways government can remove barriers to their efforts.
