Fleetwood Mac tribute band Back 2 Mac to perform at Mitchell Opera House Oct. 17

MITCHELL — Fans of Fleetwood Mac will have the opportunity to revisit the legendary band’s music when tribute act Back 2 Mac takes the stage at the Mitchell Opera House on Saturday, Oct. 17.

Back 2 Mac brings a setlist of more than 40 songs spanning Fleetwood Mac’s celebrated Buckingham, Nicks and McVie era, along with earlier classics such as Peter Green’s “Black Magic Woman” and Bob Welch’s “Sentimental Lady.”

The band’s performances feature rich vocal harmonies and an easygoing, playful approach to audience interaction, bringing the group’s extensive catalog to life.

In late 2022 and early 2023, Back 2 Mac completed a 12-city run of shows that often featured guest singers performing songs from Christine McVie’s musical career, from her early London days with Chicken Shack and as Christine Perfect to her final recorded song with Fleetwood Mac.

Members of Back 2 Mac have played and recorded with a variety of notable artists, including Leon Russell, Bob Weir, The Impressions, Days of the New, Josh Ritter, Anaïs Mitchell and Kevin Morby.

The band has performed at venues across the country, including City Winery locations in Nashville, Philadelphia, Chicago and Boston; Brooklyn Bowl in New York; Headliners Music Hall in Louisville; The Bluebird in Bloomington; and Stephen Foster Amphitheater in Bardstown, Kentucky.
