BEDFORD — Bedford City Utilities has officially lifted the precautionary boil water order for select properties along Crawford Drive, effective immediately on Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2026.
The cancellation notice was issued by Utilities Director Misty D. Adams and Mayor Samuel J. Craig following necessary water sampling and testing to confirm the municipal water supply meets safety standards.
Affected Addresses
Normal tap water usage and consumption may safely resume at the following Crawford Drive locations:
- 1208 Crawford Drive
- 1213 Crawford Drive
- 1218 Crawford Drive
- 1219 Crawford Drive
- 1302 Crawford Drive
- 1305 Crawford Drive
- 1312 Crawford Drive
- 1315 Crawford Drive
The precautionary order was originally issued following water main work in the area. Residents at these addresses are no longer required to boil tap water prior to drinking, cooking, or other domestic uses.
