INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Department of Health (IDOH) will present its public health report on Monday, Nov. 16, offering members of the public and health advocates an in-depth look into state health agency financials, core priorities, and upcoming initiatives.
The event will take place from 9 a.m. to noon at the Indiana Government Center South Auditorium, located at 302 W. Washington St. in Indianapolis.
Keynote presentations will be delivered by State Health Commissioner Lindsay Weaver, M.D., FACEP, alongside other state public health leaders.
The presentations will address critical state health programs and strategic objectives, including:
- Rural Health Transformation Program: Updates on initiatives expanding health resources in rural communities.
- Health First Indiana: Strategy overview and updates on statewide community health funding.
- Agency Priorities: Targeted campaigns to improve maternal and infant health outcomes, prevent chronic disease, and strengthen data quality and transparency statewide.
- Program Area Updates: Insights into ongoing department operations and strategic goals.
In addition to the main presentation, attendees can explore a program area gallery hosted in the Indiana Government Center South Atrium.
