Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence County receives $5,000 Rachael Ray Grant

LAWRENCE COUNTY — The Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence County has been selected as one of only 13 Boys & Girls Clubs nationwide to receive a 2026 Rachael Ray Grant.

The Club was chosen from a competitive pool of more than 200 applicants, making the recognition a significant accomplishment for the local organization and the community it serves.

The $5,000 grant, awarded through the partnership of Boys & Girls Clubs of America and the Rachael Ray Foundation, will support the Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence County’s efforts to provide quality programs, healthy meals and positive youth development opportunities.

Club officials said the funding will help strengthen programs designed to empower local young people and help them reach their full potential.

The grant also provides an opportunity for the Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence County to participate in the 2026 Rachael Ray Grant cohort and share the impact of the funding on the youth it serves.

The organization expressed appreciation to its Board of Directors, staff, volunteers and community supporters, as well as Boys & Girls Clubs of America and the Rachael Ray Foundation, for their continued investment in its mission.

Being selected for the grant highlights the work being done locally to provide young people with access to nutritious meals, enriching programs and opportunities for positive development.

The Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence County has completed and returned the required grant agreement and will move forward with implementing the funding to benefit local youth.
