LOOGOOTEE — Emergency responders were dispatched to the vicinity of Boggs West Circle in Loogootee on Sunday morning following reports of a pickup truck entering the water.
First responders received the call at approximately 11:40 a.m. Upon arrival at the scene, emergency personnel confirmed that all occupants had managed to exit the vehicle safely before the arrival of rescue crews. No injuries were reported in connection with the incident.
Indiana Conservation Officers arrived shortly after to assist local law enforcement and fire units at the scene. A local towing service was subsequently dispatched to extract the submerged truck from the water.
Authorities have officially classified the incident as a property damage accident, and no criminal charges or further emergency measures were required.
