BEDFORD — The Bedford Police Department is investigating an active battery with a weapon incident that left two people hospitalized with apparent stab wounds on Sunday evening, Sept. 27.
Officers responded around 5:56 p.m. to the 715 block of 17th Street following a report of an active incident.
According to Bedford Police Chief Terry Moore, both individuals involved in the altercation were transported Sunday night to IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis for medical treatment. As of late Sunday night, both individuals were listed in stable condition and are expected to recover from their injuries.
Authorities have not yet released the identities of those involved or details regarding what led to the altercation.
