JEFFERSON AND SCOTT COUNTIES – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a road closure for State Road 56 in Jefferson and Scott Counties.
Beginning on or around Monday, September 28, crews will close S.R. 56 near Hanover. This closure will occur between the intersection of State Road 62 and the intersection of State Road 3.
This closure will allow for a culvert replacement project. Work is expected to take a day to complete, depending on the weather. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones.
