HENRYVILLE – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a series of short-term closures planned tonight (Tuesday, Sept. 22) on Interstate 65 just south of Henryville (Exit 19).
Utility crews will close both directions of I-65 for up to 10 minutes at a time starting at 9 p.m. for overhead utility repairs. Three separate closures will occur approximately 30 minutes apart. Work is anticipated to be complete by midnight, weather permitting.
Delays are expected while repairs are in progress. Drivers are encouraged to seek an alternate route.
INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent, and schedules are subject to change.
