CROWN POINT – Rotary Means Business Northwest Indiana (RMB NWI) is bringing Rotary Clubs from Crown Point, Merrillville, Schererville, Hammond, and Valparaiso together for an official Networking Event.
This exciting kickoff event is designed to connect and empower business owners, entrepreneurs, professionals, and community leaders from across the Region, while also introducing the mission and advocacy work of Rotary Clubs throughout Northwest Indiana.
Upcoming events from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. include:
- April 9 at the Majik Factory in Michigan City
- June 11 at the Porter County administration building in Valparaiso
- Aug. 13 at the Community Help Network in Crown Point
- Oct. 8 at the NWI Food Council in Crown Point
- Dec. 10 at All-Star Service in Valparaiso
Attendees will enjoy a structured yet engaging evening that includes:

- Speed Networking Sessions
- Upcoming Rotary Volunteer Opportunities
Rotary Means Business offers a unique space where business and service come together—providing opportunities to grow professional networks while contributing to community impact.
“This event is about building meaningful connections,” said Joe Skibbie, a Crown Point Rotarian and owner of JRS Mar/Com. “We’re creating a platform for business leaders to thrive, collaborate, and explore how Rotary’s values align with professional success and community service.”
This networking event is open to the public and ideal for business owners, nonprofit leaders, and professionals seeking purpose-driven connections. Members of numerous Region Rotary Clubs, including Merrillville, Schererville, Valparaiso, Hammond, and Crown Point, are represented in the planning of this event.
