SHOALS – Shoals cruised to a four-set victory over Bedford North Lawrence during high school volleyball action on Thursday night.
The Jug Rox won a final-set battle to record a 25-19, 25-20, 20-25, 25-23 triumph, improving to 16-2. The Stars slipped to 7-12.
Izzy Root paced BNL with 14 kills and five blocks, Lily Mishler totaled 14 kills and 10 digs, and Jenna Allen added 10 kills plus three aces. Adalynn Bailey had 35 assists.
BNL will visit Orleans on Monday.
