Tiny Pillars Preschool Officially Opens at Boys and Girls Club of Lawrence County

BEDFORD The Boys and Girls Club of Lawrence County has officially opened the doors to its new early childhood education initiative, Tiny Pillars Preschool.

The program welcomed its first cohort of young students, affectionately dubbed the “littlest new Club Kids,” for a school year focused on foundational learning, social development, and play.

Tiny Pillars Preschool was designed to expand the club’s educational outreach to younger children in the Lawrence County community, offering structured early childhood programming alongside the organization’s existing after-school and youth development services.

Designed for children ages 4 to 5, Tiny Pillars Preschool offers a kindergarten readiness program focused on helping young learners build the academic, social, and emotional skills needed for success in school and beyond.

Classes will meet Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. The program combines early literacy instruction, foundational math concepts, and social-emotional learning through hands-on, engaging activities tailored to young children.

To be eligible for enrollment, children must be at least 4 years old by August 1, 2026. Students must also be potty trained and able to independently manage basic self-care tasks, including dressing and undressing, using the restroom, washing their hands, putting on and removing simple clothing such as jackets and shoes, and communicating their needs effectively.

Parents and community members seeking enrollment details, curriculum information, or scheduling options for Tiny Pillars Preschool can contact the Boys and Girls Club of Lawrence County directly at their Bedford facility, call 812-279-6123, or visit Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence County website.
