BEDFORD — The Lawrence County Council has scheduled a special meeting for Thursday, September 10, 2026, to address an emergency hire request for the county treasurer’s office.
The meeting will take place at 4:15 p.m. at the Lawrence County Courthouse, located at 916 15th Street, Suite 28, in Bedford.
The special meeting will immediately precede the council’s Budget Run-Through Meeting, which is scheduled for 4:30 p.m.
