SHOALS – East Fork Water, Inc. has issued a boil order for select customers. Customers who live South of the Whitfield tanks and have experienced an interruption of water service are under a boil order, effective immediately, and this order will stand for the next few days until further notice.
Boil water vigorously for three minutes prior to use, then cool and store in the refrigerator. Use only boiled water for drinking, brushing your teeth, diluting fruit juices, and all other food preparation. As an alternative, use bottled drinking water.
