BEDFORD – Bedford North Lawrence conquered Martinsville 183-187 during girls high school golf action on the front nine of Otis Park on Thursday.
Sammie Nusbaum paced the Stars with a 4-over 41 while Emma Voris birdied the sixth hole en route to posting a 45.
“We had too many mishits and struggled to get the ball in the hole,” BNL coach Carly Stigall said. “As a team, we need to get better with consistency and apply corrections faster. These next couple weeks, we have less matches, so we’re going to take advantage of that practice time to work on those things.”
Maddie Martin was the medalist with a 40 for the Artesians.
BNL will host Seymour on Tuesday.
