LAWRENCE COUNTY — Nearly 250 runners and walkers participated in the 51st Annual Limestone 5K in July, helping raise approximately $10,000 for the Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence County.
The annual race brought participants together for a morning of fitness, community and support for local youth.
The Boys & Girls Club credited the success of the event to participants, sponsors, volunteers and other supporters who helped make the race possible.
Money raised through registrations and sponsorships will help support programs and opportunities provided by the Boys & Girls Club for children throughout the community.
The organization said every registration, sponsorship and volunteer effort contributes to its ability to continue serving local youth.
