Bonnie L. Ingle, 84, of Bedford, passed away on August 9, 2026, at her home.
She was born in Bedford on February 24, 1942, to the late Joseph Leck Brown and Geneva Miller Brown. On March 6, 1959, she married Robert “Bob” Ingle, and he preceded her in death.
Bonnie was a homemaker who devoted much of her life to caring for her family and creating a warm and loving home. She took great pride in her family and enjoyed being surrounded by those she loved. Bonnie loved to read, crochet, sew, and travel, finding enjoyment in both her hobbies and the time she was able to spend with family and friends. In her younger years, she and Bob enjoyed going to auctions together and looked forward to the excitement of finding something special. Over the years, Bonnie created many cherished memories through the simple joys of everyday life.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her children, Steve (Sharon) Ingle, Jenny (John) Fetten, and Vicki (Gary) Bridwell; grandchildren, Adam (Jenny Hill) Ingle, Seth (Jessica) Ingle, Sarah (Jason) Daughtrey, Jordan (Amanda) Ingle, JT (Megan) Post, Andrew (Ashley Gaer) Knoop, Kara (Josh) Darretta, Nick (Becci) Fetten, Sydney (Vipul) Shah, Luke (Lindsey) Fetten, Brody Fetten, Jared (Sarah) Bridwell, and Jacob (Zoriana) Bridwell; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” Ingle; grandparents, Cecil and Mary Miller; parents, Leck Brown and Geneva Miller Brown; and brother, Dick Brown.
Funeral services for Bonnie will be held on Friday, August 14, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne Family Funeral Homes, 818 18th Street, Bedford, IN, with Pastor Philip Thorne officiating. Entombment will follow at Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home and from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service on Friday.
