BEDFORD The Lawrence County Commissioners have approved a $42,000 contract with architecture firm Architura Corporation to evaluate potential structural damage and oversee repairs at the Courthouse Plaza following a roof collapse on the building’s second floor.

The decision comes as county officials take steps to assess the building’s safety and prevent further deterioration of the structure.
