WASHINGTON, D.C. — Chinese e-commerce retailer Changsha Yuelu District Ruiwu E-Commerce Co., Ltd., operating as WURUI.BABY, has issued a recall for approximately 1,310 Wnttmt-branded infant walkers following a determination by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) that the product fails to meet federal safety standards.

The recall was officially announced on August 6, 2026. No injuries or incidents have been reported to date.
Dual Safety Violations Identified
According to the CPSC, the recalled infant walkers violate mandatory federal safety regulations in two critical ways:
- Fall Hazard: The walkers are narrow enough to fit through standard doorways and lack effective braking mechanisms to stop at the edge of steps, exposing infants to deadly drop-off hazards.
- Entrapment & Suffocation Hazard: The leg openings are improperly sized, allowing a baby to slip downward through the seat until their head becomes entrapped in the frame. Head entrapment poses severe risks of neck injury or suffocation before a caregiver can intervene.
Product Identification & Sales Information
The recall applies specifically to Wnttmt-branded infant walkers featuring:
- Color & Design: Gray fabric seat with a white tray and a round base.
- Features: Eight-wheel assembly with three adjustable height levels.
- Tracking Label: Marked with “Production Batch: 202509” on a label located under the seat.
The walkers were sold exclusively online through Amazon.com between February 2026 and March 2026 for approximately $65 to $75.
Instructions for Consumers
Consumers are urged to stop using the recalled walkers immediately. To receive a full refund, buyers must follow these steps:
- Disassemble the walker completely.
- Cut the fabric seat to render it unusable.
- Write the word “Recalled” on top of the white tray using a permanent marker.
- Email a photo showing the destroyed and marked walker to wbabywalker-recall@outlook.com.
Once the refund confirmation is received from WURUI.BABY, consumers should dispose of the destroyed unit.
