ORANGE COUNTY – Hoosier Uplands Springs Valley Afterschool Program has been presented with a $10,000 grant from the Matt C. Harris Foundation for Kids.
Serving 45 children, kindergarten through sixth grade, Springs Valley’s Afterschool Program provides a safe and supportive environment for their kids. Many of the children served are from families of financial difficulty. These programs are a stepping stone into a safe space.
Leading from the presented donation, an anonymous donor gave $5,600 specifically for programming, raising the total donation to $15,600. Hoosier Uplands Afterschool Programs are grateful for the support to benefit our youth.
The Matt C. Harris Foundation for Kids continues to invest and strengthen communities.
