INDIANAPOLIS – American Dairy Association Indiana Inc. will once again offer two featured items at this year’s Indiana State Fair Dairy Bar: “The Big Dill” grilled cheese and the Blue Raspberry milkshake, served alongside traditional fan favorites, including a variety of grilled cheese sandwiches, hand-dipped ice cream, milkshakes, custards and, of course, milk.
“The Dairy Bar is a must-stop for anyone visiting the Indiana State Fair,” said Brooke Williams, Director of Communications for the American Dairy Association Indiana, Inc. “This year’s featured grilled cheese and milkshake lean into trending dill flavors and the classic summer favorite, blue raspberry. We look forward to sharing these delicious offerings made from Indiana dairy products!”
“The Big Dill” is a spin on the classic grilled cheese sandwich, made on sourdough bread with dill seasoning sandwiching dill pickle slices and havarti and cheddar cheeses. Also back on the Dairy Bar menu, 2024’s top-selling grilled cheese, The Melty Mess, a mix of Havarti, cheddar, and Munster cheeses on sourdough. “The Big Dill” and Blue Raspberry milkshake will be offered for sampling at the Indiana State Fair “Taste of the Fair” Media Day on Thursday, August 6. The Dairy Bar is open during normal Indiana State Fair hours from August 7-23 (closed Mondays), and will be run by members of the American Dairy Association Indiana, Inc., local celebrities, and community all-stars.
