MITCHELL — As educators prepare their classrooms for the start of a new school year, the team at Magical Vacation Planner (MVP) is inviting teachers from across the region to stop by its Mitchell headquarters on Tuesday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. for a free school supply giveaway.
The event will be held at the company’s Entrepreneur Learning Center, 242 State Road 60 East, where teachers can pick up classroom supplies to help offset out-of-pocket expenses ahead of the 2026-27 school year. Supplies will be available while they last.

The giveaway continues MVP’s commitment to supporting the local community beyond its travel planning business. Founded in Mitchell in 2006, the company has grown into a national travel agency network with hundreds of independent vacation advisors specializing in Disney destinations, cruises and resort vacations, while maintaining its headquarters in Lawrence County.
Earlier this year, MVP opened its Entrepreneur Learning Center at its Mitchell campus. The facility serves as a training and education hub for travel advisors and entrepreneurs while also providing meeting and event space designed to benefit the local community. The center reflects the company’s continued investment in Mitchell, where the business was founded.
The school supply giveaway is intended to help teachers stock their classrooms before students return for the new academic year. Educators often spend hundreds of dollars of their own money each year on classroom materials, and community-sponsored supply drives help reduce those costs while ensuring students have access to needed resources.
MVP’s headquarters is located at 242 State Road 60 East in Mitchell and serves as the company’s primary office, with an additional office in Orlando, Florida. The travel agency offers vacation planning services for theme park destinations, cruises, and other leisure travel.
