ORLEANS — Visitors traveling into Orleans from the north will notice a refreshed sight along State Road 37, just in time for a major historic milestone.
The Orleans Chamber of Commerce’s official “Welcome to Orleans” sign recently received a complete “facelift” to brighten the town’s northern gateway. The updated look arrived just ahead of local and national festivities surrounding the upcoming America 250 Celebration, which marks the semiquincentennial anniversary of the United States.
The meticulous paint and detailing work on the landmark sign was completed by HD Graphix, a local custom design and graphics shop.
Chamber officials noted that maintaining a vibrant and welcoming entrance is especially meaningful as communities across the country prepare to host travelers and celebrate the historic national milestone. The freshly updated sign now stands ready to greet residents and visitors alike as they enter the historic town.
