Everett “Ronald” Gentry, 81, of Bedford, formerly of Indianapolis, passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at Cedar Creek of Bedford.
Ronald was known by his nickname “Rooster”; he was born in Indianapolis on June 25, 1944, to Everett Leon Gentry and Lola R. (Doss) Gentry. Ronald retired from Chevrolet Truck & Bus in Indianapolis; he was a United States Marine Corps veteran serving in the Vietnam War.
Survivors include two daughters, Angela (Jason) Beavers of Paoli, and Theresa (Mark) Robinson of Mitchell, four grandchildren, Nathan Liming, Alyssa Vandagrifft, Jason Beavers, II, and Lola Beavers, five great-grandchildren.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Larry Gentry.
Cremation was chosen.
