FISHERS – In his final high school track meet, Bedford North Lawrence’s Tripp Stahl went out with a bang.
Stahl, competing as an Indiana All-Star in the 52nd annual Midwest Meet of Champions at Hamilton Southeastern, broke the school record in the shot put. Stahl, on his way to the University of Indianapolis, launched the shot 60-1.25 while finishing third in the event.
After finishing seventh in the IHSAA state finals, Stahl shattered the record of Jeremiah Zollman, who posted 59-10.75 while finishing second in the state in 2010.
