INDIANAPOLIS — Pacers Sports & Entertainment has announced that the final selection rounds for two of its premier in-game entertainment squads—the Indiana Pacemates and the Pacers Power Pack—will take place next week at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

Both events will be open to the public with free admission, offering basketball fans a sneak peek at the talent being assembled to energize crowds ahead of the 2026-27 NBA season.
Monday, June 15: Indiana Pacemates Audition Showcase
The search for the franchise’s official dance team culminates on Monday evening under the direction of Michelle Duggan, Director of Entertainment Teams. The final 30 candidates remaining from the audition process will perform live on the main floor.
- Doors Open: 6:15 p.m.
- Showcase Begins: 7:00 p.m.
- Event Concludes: 9:00 p.m.
What to Expect: Finalists will showcase their choreography and skills in front of judges and a live audience. The official Pacemates roster—traditionally consisting of 14 to 18 members—will be selected and announced at the conclusion of the evening.
Wednesday, June 17: Pacers Power Pack Tryouts
On Wednesday, the focus shifts to high-flying acrobatics as candidates look to secure a spot on the Pacers Power Pack. Overseen by Jamie Russell, Director of Mascot Operations, the session serves as the final tryout for elite trampoline dunkers trying to join the squad.
- Doors Open: 5:30 p.m.
- Tryouts Begin: 6:00 p.m.
- Event Concludes: 8:00 p.m.
What to Expect: Attendees will witness hopeful athletes performing gravity-defying, acrobatic dunks. The athletes selected for this squad will perform during timeouts and halftime shows at Pacers home games throughout the upcoming year.
