Spice up your summer: Mitchell Public Library launches interactive adult BINGO reading challenge

MITCHELL The Mitchell Community Public Library has officially launched its Adult Summer Reading program, introducing a bingo-style challenge designed to encourage local residents to read and engage in new community activities.

Sign-ups for the seasonal program began May 26.

To participate, adults are asked to complete various reading tasks and activities listed on a specialized bingo sheet. Challenge squares include reading a mystery novel, listening to an audiobook, attending a “Coffee & Crafts” event, building a terrarium, watching a sunset, and visiting a museum.

Participants who complete their bingo sheets and return them to the library will be entered into a prize drawing. Rewards include gift certificates to local businesses and experience passes to various venues across the state.

Library officials are also encouraging participants to share their progress and summer reading journeys on the library’s Facebook page. More information and bingo sheets can be obtained directly from the Mitchell Community Public Library.
