Alliance for Aviation Across America applauds Indiana Governor Mike Braun for proclaiming June “General Aviation Appreciation Month”

WASHINGTON, D.C.  The Alliance for Aviation Across America today applauded Indiana Governor Mike Braun for proclaiming the month of June as “General Aviation Appreciation Month.” According to the 2022 Indiana State Aviation Economic Impact Study, general aviation airports across the state support more than $1.4 billion in economic impact annually, more than 11,000 jobs, and a total payroll of over $548 million.

We applaud Governor Braun for this recognition, which highlights the pilots, aviation professionals, and airports that make Indiana’s communities and economy thrive.”
