Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife, Pamela Dawn (Simmerman) Daniel of Cale; his children, Barbaretta Lynn Wade of Cale, Nellie Shoon and husband Mike Jones, John Lee Daniel and wife Lori of Loogootee, and Donald Cary Simmerman and wife Kathleen of Trinity Springs. Twelve grandchildren, multiple great-grandchildren, and great-aunt, Marilyn Beemblossom, also survive.
