BEDFORD — The Class of 2026 is preparing to turn the page on one chapter and begin another, and 1340 WBIW is celebrating the achievements of graduating seniors across Lawrence County through its Senior Spotlight series on WBIW.com.

This feature highlights seniors from Bedford North Lawrence High School, Mitchell High School, and JC’s Christian Academy, students who have spent the past four years building friendships, competing in athletics, performing in music and arts programs, volunteering in their communities, and preparing for their futures beyond high school.
For many graduates, the coming weeks will mark the start of college careers, military service, trade school programs, and new jobs. Others are still deciding where life will take them next. Regardless of the path ahead, 1340 WBIW says each senior deserves recognition for reaching this milestone.
Did you know Mitchell High School’s Garret Floerke is attending IU in the Fall? Or that BNL graduate Dustin Haltom plans to serve the United States in the Marine Corps?
The Senior Spotlight series gives families and friends an opportunity to celebrate graduates by sharing photos, accomplishments, future plans, and involvement in sports, clubs, FFA, student organizations, academics, and extracurricular activities at no cost.

Community members are encouraged to visit WBIW.com and click the Senior Spotlight banner at the top of the page to view Lawrence County seniors already featured and to submit additional graduates from schools across the region for upcoming spotlights.
1340 WBIW will continue adding Senior Spotlight submissions throughout graduation season as communities come together to celebrate the accomplishments of the Class of 2026.
